or ((n & -n) == n), then is a power of 2. But this will work only for power of 2 (as already specified in the blog post above)

Its just good memory
btw, power of 2 can be determined with a little meddling of bitwise operators.
heres one: if X-OR of number and -number == 0 is true, then it is a power of 2. Else, not.

Nice one Shiva. Yes, as you said there could be one other O(1) algorithm, however the point is WHY the programmer has coded so. Well said !! Finding it in a couple of day or overnight needs “I am not doing best coding” attitude, most important for an programmer
